The Yak Gear HATCH6C Hatch and Storage Bag Kit allows you to gain inside access and interior storage space on your small craft. Hatch installation is no longer only for the purpose of adding additional storage with a cat bag. In fact, most kayakers are beginning to install hatches with the sole purpose of gaining inside access for unrelated rigging projects within an arms length of the hatch. The 6 inch hatches come with a non-waterproof cat bag and needs 8 inches of flat space to be installed.
