Featuring an all new SLIDE magnetic cast control system, anglers can adjust their braking with the flick of their thumb without missing a single cast. The thumb switch located on top of the reel directly alongside the spool allows for quick braking adjustments at a moment’s notice. Anglers of all skill levels will be able to make long, bombing casts with little braking, and then immediately ramp the braking up to make quick casts against the wind or skip baits under docks or low hanging structure. By combining the magnetic SLIDE braking with 13 Fishing’s new Low-Friction centrifugal braking, the perfect cast in any conditions is always attainable. Zero Corrosion CZB Bearings and an Advanced Polymer drag system are housed within the new Cast Iron Carbon frame and side plates for performance that is smooth, ultra lightweight, and extremely durable for many seasons out on the water.
