The Daiwa North Coast Salmon & Steelhead Side Drifting Rods are designed to meet the acute demands of those side drifting in rivers for these magnificent game fish. Built on IM7 graphite composite blanks, these rods feature a technique specific action to increase your chances at success on the water. The rod handles are crafted from natural cork to provide a comfortable grip and classic look. The blanks are wrapped with Titanium Oxide Ring Guides to help pay out long casts while still sensitive to the bend of the rod to avoid interrupting the action. The rod tips are dipped in Fluorescent Orange Paint to provide a great visual for strike detection.
